OnePlus 6T First Impressions

The OnePlus 6 was launched less than 6 months ago. Without a doubt, that’s a remarkably short product cycle and it makes you question why the company decided to refresh the product line. After having spent time with the phone, I’m still conflicted. The 6T is a fine device but it doesn’t do nearly enough to justify its existence given how good the OnePlus 6 already was. OnePlus could’ve very easily saved the enhancements on the 6T for the inevitable OnePlus 7 instead of the piecemeal incremental update approach being taken here. Regardless, let’s take a deeper look at the OnePlus 6T. I’ve been using the phone for the last few days to get a feel for it and here’s what I think about it. OnePlus 6T Unboxing

OnePlus just introduced its flagship OnePlus 6T smartphone at an event in New York. It is the first smartphone from the company to feature a tiny notch and 19.5:9 aspect ratio display and comes with in-display fingerprint scanner which the company calls Screen Unlock. We already brought you the first impressions of the phone. OnePlus 6T with 6.41-inch FHD+ AMOLED 19.5:9 display, 8GB RAM, in-display fingerprint sensor announced starting at $549

OnePlus just announced its flagship OnePlus 6T smartphone at an event in New York, as it had promised. It has a larger 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED display with a tiny notch that also houses three-in-one ambient/distance/RGB sensor and front-facing camera. It has about 86% screen-to-body ratio and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6. It is powered by Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform with up to 8GB of RAM, same as the OnePlus 6, but the base version of the 6T now comes with 128GB storage, instead of 64GB. It still has daily water-resistance so that the phone can withsand splashes and accidental spills, but it doesn’t have IP ratings. OnePlus 6T to be exclusively available from Amazon-owned SOUQ.com in UAE

OnePlus has announced a partnership with SOUQ.com to launch its upcoming flagship; the OnePlus 6T to consumers in the UAE, marking its entry in the Middle East. It is a well-known fact that the OnePlus 6T will be launching globally on 29 October at an event in New York City. OnePlus 6T pop-up events will be held across 9 cities in India on November 2

OnePlus is all set to introduce its flagship OnePlus 6T smartphone in a week. Today the company has announced pop-up events globally, including India, as usual. Pop-ups will be held across 8 cities including Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Jaipur in India. Across the globe pop-ups will be held in New York,  Helsinki, Copenhagen,  Stockholm and more Nordic and several European countries such as Paris, London, Madrid and more. OnePlus 6T India launch event entry tickets sold out within minutes

A few days back OnePlus sent out invites confirming the launch of most expected OnePlus 6T smartphone globally including India on October 30th, the same time it launches in New York at 11 AM EDT (8:30 PM IST). Since OnePlus wanted their fans to take part in the launch event celebration, the company offered launch event vouchers at Rs. 999 via oneplus.in.  As promised, the voucher went on sale this morning at 10 AM and was sold out soon after going live. Ever since the launch of OnePlus 6, it has been the best premium smartphone we’ve seen this year. The launch of the OnePlus 6T is just around, thanks to leaks and other official information from the company itself. OnePlus 6T teased in TV ad ahead of India launch exclusively on Amazon

OnePlus has started teasing the company’s upcoming OnePlus 6T flagship smartphone in India. The company shows a short TV ad during the India vs Pakistan Match on Star Sports. The ad featuring Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan who was roped in as the company’s brand ambassador last year, even shows the back of the phone. It also shows curved glass screen with curved corners.
