Just weeks after launching the BlackBerry Z10, BlackBerry’s head honcho in India decided to resign the job, effective immediately. Previously known as Research in motion, the Waterloo company recently launched its revamped smartphone efforts with new devices based on the BlackBerry 10 operating system. The BlackBerry Z10 was launched in India with a hefty price tag of Rs. 43, 490 and it was supposedly sold out within two day, with BlackBerry scrambling to refill the chain with a fresh inflow of devices. But, after all this, it has been revealed that the BlackBerry India head is resigning today.

MTNL Mumbai launches BlackBerry Prepaid Plans

Earlier these plans were available on postpaid.There is a BlackBerry BIS Lite plan which offers unlimited email and BBM for Rs.251 per month. Nokia N8 India Launch in mid-September

Nokia India has announced on Twitter that the Nokia N8 – 12 MP Camera phone is launching in India in mid-September. Some of our sources are saying that it will go on sale during Nokia World 2010 in some countries. Some are pointing to a Sep 23rd Release date for India. HP Buys Palm For $1.2 Billion

HP has finally decided to buy Palm for $1.2 billion, which equals to $5.70 per share of Palm common stock. This deal is expected to be completed by the HP’s third fiscal quarter ending on July 31.

The wait is over! HP has finally decided to buy Palm for $1.2 billion, which equals to $5.70 per share of Palm common stock. This deal is expected to be completed by the HP’s third fiscal quarter ending on July 31. Under the terms of the merger agreement, Palm stockholders will receive $5.70 in cash for each share of Palm common stock that they hold at the closing of the merger. Palm CEO Jon Rubinstein is expected to remain with the company. Check out the press release below.

Rumor: Nokia to launch new handset lineup C series

The Nokia netbook rumors have started flowing in again . This time in a different fashion. A finnish website points to a recent trademark application by Nokia which hints at a new handset lineup called C Series . We have had N Series and E Series so far and the Enterprise series of phones beat the multimedia lineup in terms of sales for the first time this quarter. Nokia has been pushing many of its high end devices as Mobile Computers and if the C series rumor is true then we might see real computers being offered by Nokia.
