Netflix records $2.64 billion revenue in Q1 2017, nears 100 million subscribers

Netflix has announced financial earnings for Q1 2017. The US based streaming service has recorded $2.64 billion in revenue and net income of $178 million. It reported net subscription additions of 4.95 million for the quarter which fell short of the 5.2 million subscribers forecast. Netflix now has 98.75 million subscribers, and is expected to hit 100 million subscribers milestone easily next quarter.

Netflix teams up with Airtel and Videocon d2h to offer original content via DTH

Netflix reports $2.35B in revenue, adds 7 million new subscribers in Q4 2016

Netflix has recorded $2.48 billion revenue in Q4 2016, up 41% YoY. The US based streaming service added 7.05 million subscribers of which 1.93 million members were from the U.S. and 5.12 million internationally.
