The Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type phone has received a new firmware update that brings Swipe to unlock feature for the device. You can also swipe to open Collection and Games. Apart from that there are the usual bug fixes which improve performance and usability.

The Department of Telecom (DoT) has banned Nokia’s Push e-mail services in India. The Intelligence Bureau asked the Indian service providers not to launch the proposed Push / Power Email service till it gets monitoring system.

Nokia has just announced the latest addition to the ESeries family of smartphones – the E6-00.It is a candybar QWERTY device and is the successor to the Nokia E72.
Nokia has officially announced Nokia E6 and Nokia X7. E6 is the successor of Nokia E72 that is a business phone and Nokia X7 is entertainment device. These devices will have new UI that is named Symbian Anna.
Nokia E72 got a new firmware update after a long gap from the 052.005 that was released last November. The new version 054.005 is now available as an Over the Air (OTA) update, but may require Nokia Software updater or OVI suite
