Nokia has launched 3 new Touch and Type phones in India. The Nokia C2-03 and the Nokia C2-06 are the Dual SIM Touch and Type phones and the Nokia C2-02 is the single SIM Touch and Type phone. These S40 Nokia phones were announced at the Nokia Connections 2011 event in Singapore this June.

Nokia’s Twins Day Out has entered Limca Book of Records 2012. The Nokia Twins Day out is a a first of its kind festival that brought 63 pairs of twins of different age groups together to unveil the Nokia Dual SIM handsets – Nokia C2-00 and Nokia X1-01.
MeeGo Experts report that the long awaited Nokia N9 might be available via Swiss Orange starting September 15th. The website has put up a page for the MeeGo Harmattan device and listed 15th September as date of availability alongside the specifications.

Samsung may have surpassed the sales of the Apple and Nokia smartphones in the second quarter of 2011 reports Bloomberg. Samsung is estimated to have sold between 18 million and 21 million smartphones globally in the April-June quarter, while Nokia sold 16.7 million and Apple sold 20.3 million iPhones.
