OPPO Watch 2 with curved AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 4100 & Apollo 4s dual processors, 4G eSIM, VOOC flash charging announced

OPPO just announced OPPO Watch 2, successor to last year’s OPPO Watch in China, as it had promised. It comes in 46mm and 42mm versions, both with 3D curved AMOLED screen. The quick release strap from the predecessor has been replaced with a buckle-type strap, and there is also a calf skin leather version. It comes with support for 4G and native calling, thanks to speakers and microphone. All these feature Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS and NFC support for payment. RedmiBook laptop launching in India on August 3

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has confirmed the launch of the first RedmiBook laptop in India on August 3rd. Xiaomi launched its first Mi Notebook laptop, the Mi Notebook 14 in India, back in June last year. Even though the company had filed RedmiBook trademark in India in January 2020, it took over a year for the company to launch a RedmiBook device in the country. Intel announces packaging & process roadmap till 2025, will make chips for Qualcomm

Over the last few years, Intel’s decline in the consumer processor space has become very obvious, which likely led to the change in the leadership, including the hiring of their new CEO Pat Gelsinger. The company has been making multiple changes internally that are aimed at putting Intel back in the top, and during their Accelerated webcast today, they revealed the roadmap of process and packaging innovations till 2025 and beyond.
