EU charges Apple for restricting ‘tap and go’ NFC technology for payments

Vi launches new prepaid recharge plans with 31 days validity

Vi (Vodafone Idea) has announced three new prepaid recharge packs in India. The plans are priced at Rs. 98, 195, and 319, with various data limitations. The Rs. 98 plan is valid for 15 days, while the Rs. 319 and Rs. 195 recharge plans are valid for 31 days and also include Vi Movies and TV subscriptions. The Rs. 319 package allows users to surf and stream, including using data from 12 am until 6 am, without pack reduction. Microsoft Edge browser is getting a free built-in VPN

Microsoft has made a concerted effort to inspire more consumers to use Edge. Some of the approaches it’s taken to achieving that aim hasn’t been well received, but its most recent attempt could be a helpful addition to the application. Microsoft Edge’s previous update added a grammar editor and a smart web selection tool. Now the firm disclosed it’s integrating a free built-in VPN service codenamed “Edge Secure Network” into its web browser on a help page, according to The Verge. Global smartphone shipments decline 8.9% YoY in Q1 2022: IDC

The global smartphone shipments decline 8.9% in the first quarter of 2022 compared to the same January to March quarter in 2021, according to International Data Corporation (IDC). This is a decline for the third consecutive quarter, as shipments fell to 314.1 million units in Q1 2022 compared to 344.7 million in Q1 2021.
