POCO M4 Pro 5G with 6.6-inch FHD+ 90Hz display, Dimensity 810, 50MP camera, 5000mAh battery launched in India starting at Rs. 14999

POCO has launched POCO M4 Pro 5G, the company’s latest 5G smartphone in India, as it had announced. The phone was introduced in the global markets back in November, and has almost similar specifications as the Redmi Note 11T 5G that was launched last year. This includes a 6.6-inch FHD+ screen with 50Hz, 60Hz and 90Hz dynamic switch, 16MP front camera inside the punch-hole,  Dimensity 810 SoC with support for 13 5G SA/NSA bands, up to 8GB of RAM along with Turbo RAM capability extending the device RAM up to 11GB. ASUS ROG Phone 5s and 5s Pro with 6.78″ FHD+ 144Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 888+ launched in India starting at Rs. 49999

ASUS just launched the ROG Phone 5s and 5s Pro, successors to the ROG Phone 5 series in India, as it had promised. These were introduced in August last year and retain the 6.78-inch Full HD+ Samsung’s E4 AMOLED HDR display with 144Hz refresh rate, but these are powered by Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC. AMD completes acquisition of semiconductor company Xilinx

AMD has announced the completion of their acquisition of American semiconductor manufacturing company Xilinx, as the deal has received regulatory approval. The acquisition will expand AMD’s portfolio of products in the industry, and it will also double the number of employees under AMD in India.

OPPO confirms Hasselblad partnership ahead of Find X5 and Find X5 Pro launch

Indian Government bans 54 more mobile apps including Free Fire

The Indian government today announced that it has banned 54 more mobile apps, including Tencent-backed Garena’s Free Fire, Viva Video Editor, NetEase’s Onmyoji Arena and more  apps. It says that these are prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of state and public order. Nokia G21 with 6.5″ 90Hz display, Unisoc T606, 50MP camera, 5050 mAh battery announced

HMD Global just announced the Nokia G21, the company’s latest smartphone in the G series and the successor to last year’s G20. It retains the 6.5-inch HD+ v-notch screen, but it has up to 90Hz refresh rate, and it also replaces the Helio G35 wit the Unisoc T606 SoC. It has 4GB of RAM, and runs Android 11 with two years of software upgrades and three years of security updates. Samsung Galaxy A23 5G with 6.6″ Infinity-V screen, 50MP camera, OIS, 5000mAh battery surfaces

Details about the Samsung Galaxy A23 series surfaced recently, and the camera details surfaced last month, revealing a 50MP sensor from SK Hynix. Now the CAD-based renders of the phone have surfaced revealing a familiar rear design, thanks to @OnLeaks. This reveals a 6.55″ LCD screen with Infinity-V camera cut out.
