At a press event in San Francisco , Google has just announced its intention to bring offline maps to the Android to its mobile map solutions. This offline caching feature will be an extension of the 10mile cache which is already possible. This announcement comes hot on the heels of rumors that Apple might be ditching Google and going with their own in-house maps application.

Nokia 110 affordable Dual-SIM phone is now available in India from online retailer Flipkart. It was announced last month along with the Nokia 112. NVIDIA has announced 5 new games optimized for next-gen Tegra 3 4-PLUS-1 quad-core Android devices at E3 2012. LG has launched the Optimus LTE 2 in White color in Korea. They launched the Optimus LTE 2 in Korea last month that has already reached 150,000 unit shipments in 10 days. It has similar features as the black version such as 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) True HD IPS Display , 1.5GHz dual-core processor and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS with the latest Optimus UI 3.0. Airtel has signed a global arrangement with Opera Software to offer customized and co-branded version of Opera Mini browser for Airtel mobile customers in India. The Co-branded version of Opera Mini for Vodafone was launched last year and Idea launched it earlier this February. Opera Software has agreements with 13 out of the top 30 operators globally. LG Optimus L7 is now available from online retailer Flipkart in India. LG unveiled the L7 along with other L-Style series of phone at the MWC 2012 this February and it started rolling out in major European markets including UK last month. It has 4.3 inch (480 x 800 pixels ) display and runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0. It is powered by 1GHz Cortex A5 processor and is just 8.7mm thick.
