LG LS970 Superphone with Snapdragon S4 processor and 13MP camera rumored

Rumors have surfaced of an LG superphone named the “Eclipse 4G LTE” with a spec sheet that sounds like every nerds wet dream. Powered by a 1.5Ghz quad core Snapdragon S4 processor , the phone will be paired with an Adreno 320 GPU. 2GB of RAM will be included in the handset.

Samsung Omnia M Windows Phone with 4-inch AMOLED display and 1 GHz Processor announced

 

Samsung has announced the Omnia M, their latest handset to feature Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango). The phone has 4.0-inch Super AMOLED display, 1 GHz processor and 5 MP Auto focus camera with LED Flash and a VGA video calling camera. This has larger display than the Omnia W that was launched last year but it doesn’t have impressive specs. MediaTek and Gameloft announce Global partnership

Semiconductor manufacturer MediaTek has entered into global strategic partnership with mobile gaming giant Gameloft. With this, Gameloft would support a wide range of games on MediaTek’s smartphone platform. Gameloft has also begun to allocate dedicated R&D team and resource for the development of games that will run on MediaTek’s mobile phone platforms. PayMate launches PayPOS card payment acceptance mobile application

PayMate has launched PayPOS mobile application, which allows small businesses to accept and process electronic transactions using credit and debit cards directly on their mobile phones at the point of sale (POS) itself. Airtel launches new 4G tariff plan for Kolkata


Airtel has launched new Break Free Ultimate plan at Rs. 2,999 for the customers in Kolkata, following an encouraging response from customers. They launched 4G LTE services in Bengaluru earlier this week along with this new plan. The Break Free Ultimate plan offers 30GB free usage. These plans are available in Prepaid and Postpaid. Samsung Galaxy S3 Hands On Video

We managed to get our hands on the Samsung Galaxy S3 again at CTIA after the London event from where you saw the Photo Gallery and our live blog.The Galaxy S3 is actually a feature packed handset and does impress when held in the hand. Only let down is the plasticky finish but even then I seemed to like the white version over the blue version. It is pretty fast and comes out on the top in the benchmarks we tested on it.

Sony Xperia Sola up for pre-order in India for Rs. 19,999


Sony Xperia Sola is now available for pre-order in India from online retailer Flipkart. It was announced this March and packs in 1GHz Dual Core Processor, 3.7-inch (854 x 480 pixels) Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine and has 5MP autofocus camera with flash and 720p HD video recording. Samsung Galaxy S3 Benchmarks

I’m currently attending CTIA in New Orleans in USA and guess what I found at a Mobile Focus show last nite here – the Samsung Galaxy S3 which was just shown off in London last week is now being show off here. I held the S3 for the first time in the hand and it felt nice except for the plasticky outer shell. The display was gorgeous and the phone was screaming fast. Nokia brings Nokia Store operator billing to Vodafone and Airtel


Nokia has announced that have partnered with Vodafone India and Airtel to offer integrated billing solutions on the Nokia Store in India. They partnered with Reliance to introduce operator billing on Nokia Store last year. This would let users download local and global paid content from the Nokia Store and pay for their downloads as part of their monthly mobile phone bills or have the amount deducted from the pre-paid balance.
