Apple Posts Two New iPhone 5 Television Ads, ‘Orchestra’ and ‘Turkey’

Apple has just released two new iPhone television ads. The ads are called  ‘Orchestra‘ and ‘Turkey‘. Orchestra highlights the microphones and noise canceling technology on the iPhone 5. This technology helps reduce background noise during calls. Turkey focuses on the Share Photo Stream feature of iOS 6.

Excuse me, maestro? Bring it down please!
Better.
That’s what happens to background noise when you’re making a call on this.
This microphone here picks up the sounds around you and helps turn them down.
So when the world gets noisy, calls sound better.

It’s as easy as pie. Mmmm… pie.

Both the ads are great, but Apple’s ‘Orchestra’ ad is my favorite. Apple does a fantastic job at explaining the concept of noise canceling with this ad. Simply brilliant.

Apple Might Release iPhone 5S in Mid 2013

According to sources, Apple is expected to unveil the next generation of their iPhone and iPad lineup in mid 2013. This would result in an increase in demand for ICs during the second half half of the first quarter of 2013.

Google Nexus 7 vs Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 310 7-inch Android Tablets Compared

Nokia HERE Maps for iPhone and iPad now available for download

 

Nokia announced  last week that they would launch HTML5-based HERE Maps app for Android and iOS. Now the HERE Maps is available for iPhone and iPad users.  This uses NAVTEQ mapping data and lets you explore and search places easily. It also offers live traffic view, public transport line, driving directions, voice navigation, option to save maps data for offline use and more.

Aircel Pocket Internet Games Card with unlimited games and 2G data launched

DisneyUTV Digital announced yesterday that they have partnered with EA Mobile to bring games for carriers and OEMs in India. Now, Aircel has launched Aircel Pocket Internet Games card in partnership with DisneyUTV and Electronic Arts (EA). This would let Aircel customers download and play any number of games and play immediately without staying connected. Some of the EA and Disney’s exhaustive gaming title library include, Need for Speed, EA Cricket, FIFA, Medal of Honor, Pirates of Caribbean and more. Firefox for Android v17.0 update brings support for devices with ARMv6 processors


Mozilla has updated their Firefox browser for Android to version 17.0 that brings support for ARMv6 phones with at least 800MHZ processor and minimum 512MB RAM. With this update, more than 500 million Android phones including popular phones such as Samsung Galaxy Pro GT-B7510, HTC Status, HTC ChaCha, Samsung Galaxy Ace, Motorola XT531, and the Motorola Fire XT can run the Firefox Browser. Intex Technologies has launched Aqua 5.0, successor of the Aqua 4.0 that was launched in August. Samsung has launched the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE running Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) for the Korean Market. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE comes with similar features as the Galaxy Note 10.1, including a 10.1-inch WXGA (1280 x 800 pixel) TFT display, 1.4 GHz Quad-Core Processor, 2GB RAM and a 7,000mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE would come with VoLTE (Voice over LTE) feature that simultaneously supports voice call, video, and data transmission.
