HTC One M8 Camera Samples

HTC One was announced more than a year back and it introduced a whole new concept of UltraPixel camera. HTC gave up on the Megapixel race and packed its flagship camera with a 4UltraPixel unit along with OIS. The camera did well in low light conditions, but failed in normal conditions and many claimed that camera was a big let down in the HTC One. A year later, HTC announced the HTC One successor in the form of HTC One M8 and it improves the UltraPixel camera concept.

It has a 5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). Samsung Galaxy S 3 Neo (GT-I9300I) with dual SIM support would launch in India soon for Rs. 24,900 reports Mahesh Telecom. It went official in China earlier this year and looks similar to the Galaxy S3. It has a 4.8-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and has 1.5GB RAM, compared to 1GB RAM on the Galaxy S3. Samsung Galaxy S5 pre-booking starts in India

Samsung launched the Galaxy S5 in India earlier this week. The flagship smartphone is now available for pre-order in India on the official Samsung eStore. The pre-order price is Rs. 1500. Samsung also offers 15% cash back to Citbank credit card customers when they pay the remaining amount. The Galaxy S5 has the 5.1-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It is powered by a Octa-Core Exynos 5422 (A15 1.9 GHz + A7 1.3 GHz) processor with Heterogeneous Multi-Processing and has 3G HSPA+ support, unlike the LTE variant that is powered by a Snapdragon 801 processor. BlackBerry has been facing tough times the last few quarters owing to less than stellar hardware offerings and a lack of consumer interest. Even with BlackBerry 10, the company has hardly managed to stem the tide. The company’s bread and butter has been the Bold and Curve lines and as a sign of the times, both the lines have finally stopped being the volume sellers they used to be. Windows Phone 8.1 would be unveiled at the Build conference in San Francisco, California next week. We had already seen Cortana and Action Center in earlier leaks, today a video from Chinese website Coolxap.com has revealed new start screen backgrounds and parallax wallpaper effects in Windows Phone 8.1 when you scroll through the Start Screen. Sony Xperia Z2 retail availability delayed in UK until May due to high demand

There have been rumors that Sony Xperia Z2 has been globally delayed due to a component shortage. Clove UK and other online retailers have confirmed that the SIM-free variant would not launch in UK until May. The Xperia Z2 Tablet went on sale in UK earlier this month and the Xperia Z2 smartphone was expected to go on sale in UK in early April for 599 GBP. Japan Display to ship 5.5-inch WQHD display with 538 ppi pixel density in April

Japan Display Inc. announced 5.4-inch WQHD (1,440 x 2,560 pixels) display at 543 ppi for smartphones back in October last year. Today JDI has unveiled 5.46-inch WQHD (1,440 x 2,560 pixels) display at 538 ppi for smartphones. Oppo unveiled the Find 7 earlier this month that uses the same Quad HD LCD panel from JDI. It also launched Find 7a with a 1080p panel, which would go on sale first. The Find 7 with Quad HD screen is expected sometime around May or June. Dell Venue 8 Unboxing

We might have reviewed the Dell Venue 8 Pro way ahead of its Indian reveal, but the tablet trio, that includes two other Android tablets, launched only a while back. Dell’s Venue 7 and 8 were Android tablets with two different screen sizes with largely the same specifications inside. Powered by an Intel processor, these tablets are placed at the mid range segment of the marketplace, which is the most popular segment for Android tablets these days. The Venue 8 is priced at Rs. 17,499, which might be a bit high when compared to the competition like the new Nexus 7, but is it good enough?
