Gionee Elife E7 mini was launched in India back in December last year along with the Elife E7. It was expected to go on sale in January 2014, but it didn’t happen. The smartphone is now on sale in India from online retailer Infibeam and Snapdeal. Samsung is looking forward to open 4000 new stores across small towns in India. The move comes from the South Korean tech giant as it faces tough competition from homegrown players like Micromax and Karbonn. Samsung will launch these stores in Indian towns with population of less than 100,000 to boost sales.

It was released for iOS devices back in July 2012, so it took more than 20 months for the company to bring it to Android. The Walking Dead Season 2 was released for iOS in December. Javier Olivan, VP, Growth & Analytics, Facebook stated in an interview with the Economic Times, that Facebook crossed the landmark on March 31. He also touted that the company is now eyeing for reaching over 1 billion active users in India.

Samsung unveiled the Gear Fit, its first fitness band at the MWC 2014 back in February. One of the main drawbacks of the band was the lack of vertical display orientation, making it hard use it vertically, like you use a watch. You might have seen it in our hands on video of the smart band. Samsung seems to have fixed the problem.
