Micromax A30 Smarty 3.0 now available for Rs. 3849

Micromax A30 Smarty 3.0, new phone in the Smarty range is now available from online retailer Saholic. The company launched the A25 Smarty budget Android phone last year, but this one includes 3G support that was absent in the A25 and the recently launched A68 Smarty. It has a 3-inch (240 x 320 pixels) TFT capacitive touch screen display, powered by 832 MHz Broadcom Processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It has a 2MP rear camera with LED Flash. Intex Aqua Flash and Aqua Trendy Dual SIM Android phones launched for Rs. 9500 and Rs. 4900

Intex has launched Aqua Flash and Aqua Trendy, 2 new Dual SIM Android smartphones in the Aqua series. The Intex Aqua Flash is the company’s high-end Smartphone that has a 4.3-inch (800 x 480 Pixels) Capacitive multi-touch Touch display, 1 GHz dual-core processor and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The Intex Aqua Trendy comes with a 3.5-inch (480 x 320 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, 1 GHz dual-core processor and Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). The Aqua Flash has a 8MP rear camera, while the Aqua Trendy comes with a 3.2 MP rear camera. Both these phones have a 1.3MP front-facing camera. HTC M7 image surfaces, might be revealed at MWC

HTC is long expected to reveal its next generation flagship at MWC in February and now thanks to UnwiredView, we have our first glimpse of the handset. Obtained from a firmware image, we can see that the handset maybe equipped with an edge to edge display. The Temple Run 2 also has the similar game play mechanics such as running, jumping, turning and sliding, but adds new features including cliffs, zip lines, mines and forests. Gaana Music app launched for Android, iPhone, BlackBerry and Java phones

Times Internet has launched official Gaana Music app that would let users discover and listen to songs in Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu and 21 other languages. You can also create playlists and get recommendations for songs, if you login with your Gaana account. This app is available for Android, iPhone, BlackBerry, Samsung Bada 2.0 and Nokia Symbian and Java phones. Hope the company launches the Gaana app for Windows Phone devices soon. Airtel offers free Facebook access for prepaid customers for 1 month


Airtel has launched Free Facebook on Airtel offer for their pre-paid customers that would let them access Facebook for free till 15th February 2013 without any extra packs. This would let the customers enjoy Facebook mobile application access with up to 500MB of free monthly usage. Airtel had offered free access on Facebook app for Java phones and free Mobile Twitter access for a period of 3 months, few years back. Samsung Galaxy Pocket Plus with Android 4.0 image and specs surface

Samsung Galaxy Pocket Plus (GT-S5301), successor of the Galaxy Pocket has surfaced online along with the complete specs. The design looks similar to the Galaxy Pocket. According to SamMobile, it would have similar features including a 2.8-inch QVGA capacitive touch screen display, 2 megapixel camera and a 1200 mAh battery. It would run on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Samsung announced the Galaxy Pocket in March last year, that launched in India in April. Acer ICONIA B1 7-inch Tablet with Android 4.1 launched in India for Rs. 7999

Acer has launched the ICONIA B1, the company’s first affordable Android tablet in India. It was announced last week at CES 2013. It comes with a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) capacitive multi-touch display, runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Mediatek MT 8317T processor.
