Videocon Mobiles has launched Videocon A29, the latest phone in the A series. It has a 4-inch WVGA screen, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 3.2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. As you can see in the image, it has leather-like back cover, comes with dual SIM support and has 3G connectivity. Yesterday retailer Mahesh Telecom said that the G Pro 2 (LG D838) would be priced at Rs. 49,900 (MOP) in India and the MRP would be Rs. 51,500. The company has started sending out invites for the launch event on May 27th in San Francisco, New York and London simultaneously and the launch event in Seoul, Singapore, and Istanbul is scheduled for May 28th, reports The Verge and the Engadget. Samsung unveiled the Galaxy K zoom, the company’s latest camera-centric smartphone with a 20.7-megapixel at an event in Singapore few hours back. We got some hands-on time with the camera phone. Even though it has 10x optical zoom like the S4 zoom, this has a new retracting lens technology to make the phone’s body slim at 20.2 mm (16.6mm at its thinnest).
