Samsung has launched the Galaxy S4 zoom, the company’s new flagship camera phone in India at an event in Mumbai. It was announced last month has a 16-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor with 10x optical zoom, Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS) and Xenon Flash. Nokia Lumia 1020 leaked press image shows off several colors, 41MP camera detailed
Nokia Lumia 1020 for the AT&T surfaced earlier this month. The phone did not have a name till recently and was called EOS and Elivis. There were rumors that the phone would be called the Lumia 909, but the Lumia 1020 name was confirmed by the Microsoft Windows Phone Vice President Joe Belfiore recently. Now WP Central has leaked the press image of the international version of the Lumia 1020 in new colors, Yellow, White and Black. It also says that the Nokia 909 was an early name for it but the Lumia 1020 is the final name for the release.
Motorola Droid Ultra press image surfaces
Press image for the Motorola Droid Ultra Maxx surfaced last week, now images of the Droid Ultra has surfaced online that shows both the front and back of the device. This has Droid branding on the back along with the Verizon branding since this phone would head to Verizon Wireless similar to the other rumored devices, the Droid Maxx (XT1080M) and the Droid mini (XT1030). HTC Butterfly Android 4.2.2 OTA update starts rolling out in Taiwan
HTC has announced that they have started rolling out the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update (version 2.28.709.2) for the HTC Butterfly. The update brings lot of new features including the Sense 5, BlinkFeed , Video Highlights slide show function for the camera that creates a short movie from your photos and videos, AE/AF enhancements in the camera, Battery percentage in the status bar, Quick settings and lots more. Xolo Play T1000, the company’s upcoming Android smartphone that surfaced on the official website yesterday is now available for pre-order from online retailer Flipkart. Vodafone India has launched Campus Pack, 2 new bonus cards with low calling rates for STD calls. These packs also offer Free SMS, local Vodafone to Vodafone calling minutes, 1GB of Data. The Campus Pack offers two value-for-money deals and is aimed at youth. Vodafone says that they have launched this Campus Pack to reach out to college students this admission season in Delhi and NCR.

BlackBerry 9720 running BB OS 7.1 surfaces
BlackBerry already said in the conference call during their Q1 earnings that they would release a phone running OS 7 later this year, even though they have moved to the BlackBerry 10. Now a BlackBerry 9720 running BlackBerry OS 7.1 has surfaced on a Thai website that reveals the complete device. HTC One Android 4.2.2 update to roll out in Asia this week
HTC started rolling out the Android 4.2.2 over-the-air (OTA) update for the International users starting from Taiwan last week.
