ZTE today announced two new smartphones nubia Z9 Max and nubia Z9 mini in the nubia series. The nubia Z9 Max is the company’s first smartphone with a Snapdragon 810 SoC. It has a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD CGS (Continuous Grain Silicon) OGS display with 75.1% screen-to-body ratio, while the Z9 mini has a 5-inch 1080p display CGS (Continuous Grain Silicon) OGS display with 74.1% screen-to-body ratio and is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 SoC. These have aluminum alloy frame .
Both these have a 16-megapixel rear camera with Sony Exmor RS sensor, 6p lenses, LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera with 80-degree wide-angle lens. Both these have 4G TDD-LTE and FDD-LTE connectivity, Dual SIM support and run on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with nubia UI 2.8 on top. The nubia Z9 Max has AK4375 (7.1 Surround), while the nubia Z9 mini has PM8916 audio chip and DTS support.

The ZTE nubia Z9 Max is priced at 2499 Chinese Yuan (US$ 402 / Rs. 25,116 approx.) and goes on sale April 16th. ZTE nubia Z9 mini is priced at 1499 Chinese Yuan (US$ 241 / Rs. 15,065 approx.) and goes on sale April 2nd. No word on global roll out yet.
