Apple Pay to be a part of Wallet, launching in UK this July

Apple Pay is the company’s mobile payment service that lets users with iPhones and the Apple Watch to make transactions at retail outlets and even online without requiring the use of a physical card. Launched last year, the service doesn’t require the use of an Apple specific payment terminal. Today at WWDC, the company announced that it now supports over 2500 banks from across America. It will also start supporting Discover based cards later this year which will bring an additional 50 million cards into the fold. Today the company has announced that it is slashing the price of both the 16GB Silk White and 64GB Sandstone Black variants permanently, which now cost $249 and $299, respectively. HTC One E9 variant with 5.5-inch HD display gets certified in China

HTC E9st, a variant of HTC One E9 smartphone has been certified on TENAA (via) in China. Instead of a One E9’s 5.5-inch 1080p screen, this one has a 5.5-inch 720p display, but it has the same 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an ultrapixel front-facing camera, similar to the One E9. It runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Sense UI. Placement of the front and rear cameras have changed compared to the One E9. Netbooks have traditionally been slow and clunky. Marketed as the most affordable way to consume the internet, they were too slow and only mildly productive, when in reality they were used purely for consumption due to their powerlessness. Tablets quickly replaced them to become the new Netbook-style consumption device. But tablets aren’t even mildly productive, they’re just not meant to be, because of the lack of a proper input device that required precision. Some companies tried to solve this problem.

One of the old ones, HTC remains as one of the few smartphone manufacturers that have been able to stand the test of time. Brand loyalty and genuinely well built, pioneering products that consumers want have guaranteed that so far. When the HTC One launched, it was widely regarded as the best phone around. Fast forward an year and HTC mixed it up yet again with the One M8 that brought along a somewhat gimmicky depth sensor but pushed the design and build further ahead. But if the recent financial reports and consumer sentiment are anything to go by, it seems that HTC is running out of steam. The recent release of the One M9+ has a lot riding on it’s shoulders.
