OnePlus One gets a $50 price cut permanently, now starts at $249

OnePlus slashed the price of OnePlus One smartphone in a experimental flash sale last week. Today the company has announced that it is slashing the price of both the 16GB Silk White and 64GB Sandstone Black variants permanently, which now cost $249 and $299, respectively. This price cut is available only through company’s global portal OnePlus.net.

Regarding their experiment, OnePlus on the official blog, OnePlus said:

Our experiment was a great success, and we received tons of positive feedback from our fans on social media. But we also know that some of you missed out on the sales. We want to ensure that all of our fans have the opportunity to get the Flagship Killer at this special price, which leads us to some big news: the OnePlus One now starts at $249, permanently.

OnePlus has also partnered with Dropbox to offer a one year Dropbox Pro subscription and 64GB OnePlus One bundle for $349. This offer starts June 10th, for a limited time only, and is valid in the US, Canada and EU, said the company. Dropbox Pro subscription offers 1TB of Dropbox space.
