ARCHOS has announced Diamond 2 Plus, along with the Diamond 2 Note smartphone, ahead of MWC 2016. It packs a 5.5-inch 1080p screen, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P10 SoC, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), has a 20-megapixel rear camera with Sony sensor, Laser Auto Focus, dual-tone LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera that also has a flash. It has hybrid dual SIM support, 4G LTE connectivity, fingerprint sensor on the back and USB Type-C port.
After introducing the ARCHOS 50d Oxygen smartphone and several Oxygen series tablets, the company today introduced its flagship Diamond 2 Note smartphone with a 6-inch Quad HD IPS borderless screen, ahead of MWC 2016 next week. It is powered by an Octa-Core Mediatek Helio X10 SoC, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), has a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), 4K video recording and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It has hybrid dual SIM support and 4G LTE connectivity.
LG today announced that it has partnered with premium audio firm B&O PLAY, a subsidiary of Bang & Olufsen, to offer an enhanced high-quality audio experience for the upcoming LG G5 smartphone. “LG will be the first company to offer the powerful Hi-Fi audio features co-designed by B&O PLAY,” said the company. Motorola has finally started rolling out Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update for the 2015 Moto E (2nd gen) 4G in India. It rolled out Android Marshmallow update for the Moto X Style smartphone in India back in November last year, Moto X Play, Moto G (3rd Gen) and Moto G Turbo edition got the Marshmallow update in India last month. Google has added support for 13 new languages viz Amharic, Corsican, Frisian, Kyrgyz, Hawaiian, Kurdish (Kurmanji), Luxembourgish, Samoan, Scots Gaelic, Shona, Sindhi, Pashto and Xhosa. Launched 10 years ago, Google Translate says that it now covers 99% of the online population.
