Strontium Technology has launched Type-C Mobile Kit, which combines NITRO UHS-I microSDXC card (64GB / 128GB) with a Type-C card reader that lets you transfer files between new-gen smartphones, tablets and laptops with USB Type-C ports and Mac/PC with standard USB 2.0 / 3.0 ports. Rdio is shutting down, Pandora to acquire its technology for $75 million

Rdio, one of the popular music streaming service has filed for Chapter 11, seeking protection in the United States Bankruptcy Court. “Upon approval of the proposed transaction by the bankruptcy court, Rdio will be winding down the Rdio-branded service in all markets,” said the company. Rdio launched its services in India earlier this year after acquiring Dhingana, India’s popular online music streaming service back in March last year. A lucky Samsung Galaxy Note5 user receives update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow

Just yesterday, we reported the leaked roadmap for the Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade path for Samsung phones. In the roadmap, the Galaxy Note5 along with the S6 edge+ was scheduled to receive an update to Marshmallow in December 2015. However, one lucky user has apparently already received the update to Marshmallow on his T-Mobile Note5.

Google today said that Google Search app will now understand more complex queries. It can now break down a query to understand the semantics of each piece. The app is starting to truly understand the meaning of what you’re asking, said the company. Google introduced voice search in 2008, and the Knowledge Graph in 2012. Knowledge Graph that powers the Google Search app cards got updated earlier this year to add details about common health conditions.
