A software update roadmap for Samsung devices has just appeared online and it lists out 2 phases of updates for phones to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Samsung Galaxy Note5 and S6 edge+ will be the first to get it as they are scheduled for an update in December 2015 itself.

LG today announced that it will launch Spirit LTE and G4 Stylus 4G smartphones with VoLTE (Voice Over LTE) and VoWiFi (Voice Over Wi-Fi) in India in partnership with Reliance Retail. These features will enabled faster transmission of data and voice, said the company. LG launched the 3G version of the Spirit smartphone and the G4 Stylus in India earlier this year. According to the listing, the smartphone packs a 6-inch 1080p AMOLED screen, is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core (MediaTek MT6753 likely) processor, runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with Amigo UI on top, has 8 or 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Google announced the Huawei-made Nexus 6P smartphone back in September, and it was launched in India last month, starting at Rs. 39,999. We brought you the unboxing of the smartphone recently, here we have its benchmarks. It is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64-bit 20nm processor that has four bigger ARM Cortex A57 cores clocked at 1.96GHz per core and four smaller ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.56GHz per core and has Adreno 430 GPU. It has 3GB RAM, packs 5.7-inch Quad HD AMOLED display and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). Check out the synthetic benchmark scores.
Earlier this month vivo confirmed 4GB of RAM for the company’s upcoming flagship smartphone, vivo X6, after teasing the name of the phone. Even some specifications of the smartphone surfaced along with that, now the smartphone has passed through TENAA (Via), showing off the design of the phablet. There is a X6L version and the X6D version for China Unicom. Specifications of the smartphone have not been confirmed by TENAA yet.
