Apple looking forward to open retail stores in India: Tim Cook

Apple CEO Tim Cook at the Town Hall meeting at the Infinite Loop headquarters said that the Cupertino giant is in early preparations to bring its retail stores to India, reports 9to5Mac. He also said that India is one of Apple’s most important growth areas for the next decade. He commented that 4G LTE networks are not always available in an emerging market, which is why India makes for a great opportunity for Apple to sell it products. This feature was already available for iPhone. Even though it has a 5-inch HD display, 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 1080p video recording and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the Desire 626 that was introduced last year, the dual-SIM variant that is launching in India is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6752 processor and has 2GB of RAM, instead of Snapdragon 410 SoC and 1GB of RAM. Source code of Samsung Unpacked event hints at Gear 360 launch

LeEco (formerly Letv) launched the Le 1s smartphone in India at a competitive price tag of Rs. 10,999 last month. We already brought you the unboxing of the smartphone, here we have its benchmarks.  It is powered by MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795) SoC with 8 ARM Cortex-A53 64-bit CPUs clocked at 2.16GHz per core and has 700MHz PowerVR G6200 GPU.
