OnePlus 3 imported to India ahead of launch, hints at pricing

OnePlus is all set to launch the flagship OnePlus 3 smartphone in an online VR event tomorrow. The company already confirmed that the phone go on sale in the country without invites, exclusively through Amazon.in from Wednesday, June 15 at 12:30 AM IST. It has already started importing the phone from Hong Kong into India, according to Zauba listing. So far it has imported 24,480 units of the smartphone in Graphite color to Chennai, each priced of Rs. 22,858.

It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) that lets you focus in just 0.2 seconds and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Lenovo launched Vibe K5, the company’s latest 4G smartphone in the Vibe series in India, as it had promised last week. The company launched the Vibe K5 Plus smartphone in the country at at price of Rs. 8,499 back in March. The Vibe K5 has the similar design as the K5 Plus, but this has a 5-inch HD screen and is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 415 SoC, instead of 5-inch 1080p display and Snapdragon 616 SoC on the Vibe K5 Plus. Amazon might launch music streaming service this year to take on Apple Music and Spotify
