Xiaomi just announced ‘Smarter Living 2020’ event in India on September 17th and said that it will ‘bring to you what you have been waiting for & more’. The image shows a TV, so we can expect Mi Smart LED TVs along with some smart accessories.
Samsung introduced the Galaxy Fold at its Unpacked event back in February and said that it will go on sale in April. But it didn’t happen since people who reviewed the device reported issues with the screen and the body. Later in July the company announced that it will roll out the foldable device in September after making improvements to the design and construction. Today it has confirmed the roll out of the Galaxy Fold in Korea from tomorrow, followed by France and Germany, Singapore, U.K. and U.S. It will be available both in 5G and LTE models.
Honor MagicBook Pro 2019, successor of last year’s MagicBook was introduced back in July along with the HONOR 9X series, today the company has introduced new Ryzen version of the laptop with Vega 8 Graphics. Other features including a 16.1-inch Full HD display with 4.9mm narrow bezels and a screen-to-body ratio of 90%, 8GB RAM and up to 512GB SSD are similar.
HONOR, in addition to HONOR 20S, also introduced the HONOR Play 3 smartphone in China. It has a 6.39-inch HD+ punch hole screen with an 8-megapixel camera inside the 4.5mm small hole and minimal bezels for up to 90% screen-to-body ratio. The phone is powered by Kirin 710F Soc with up to 6GB of RAM, runs Android Pie with EMUI on top and has a 48-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 2-megapixel depth of field lens. It doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor and comes only with face unlock. It has a gradient back and packs a 4000mAh battery.
ASUS has unveiled a range of new products at IFA 2019 event in Berlin. The new announcements by ASUS include ProArt StudioBook One, ProArt StudioBook Pro X, ProArt Station, ProArt Display, Zenbook Pro Duo, Zenbook Duo and ASUSPRO.
HUAWEI’s HONOR brand has introduced HONOR 20S, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in China, as it had promised. It has a 6.26-inch FHD+ All-View display with 91.7% screen-to-body ratio and an 32-megapixel in-screen front camera, is powered by Kirin 810 7nm SoC with up to 8GB of RAM and runs Android Pie with Magic UI on top. It has a 48-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 2-megapixel macro lens.
At the IFA ASUS announced the global roll out of its ROG Phone II, after it was introduced in China back in July. It has a 6.59-inch Full HD+ AMOLED HDR 120Hz, 1ms response time AMOLED display with DCIP3 gamut, is the first phone to be powered by Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC with up to 12GB of RAM. It has 3D vapor chamber that efficiently transfer heat away from the SoC and into the body while gaming and there are vents on the back. There is an optical under-display fingerprint scanner, compared to rear-mounted fingerprint sensor in the predecessor. It has a 48-megapixel rear camera along with a 13-megapixel 125° ultra-wide camera, and a 24-megapixel camera on the front.
Recently, Google confirmed that Android Q will be called Android 10 and Android 10 stable update started rolling out for Pixel and Essential smartphones earlier today. After Google Pixel and Essential smartphones, OnePlus has now officially started rolling out Oxygen OS Open Beta 1 based on Android 10 for the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro.
ASUS has today launched three new laptops in the Vivobook series – VivoBook 14 X403, VivoBook 14 X409 and VivoBook 15 X509. These are thin and light laptops and comes after the launch of the VivoBook 14 and VivoBook 15 with four-sided frameless NanoEdge ultra-narrow-bezel displays recently in India.

Gionee has launched F9 Plus, a new budget smartphone India, after Karbonn Mobile’s holding entity Jaina Group took over the Indian arm of the company. It packs a 6.26-inch HD + Full View Dewdrop Display, but the bottom bezels look huge. It is powered by a 1.65GHz Octa-Core processor with 3GB of RAM, runs Android Pie, has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel secondary camera, as well as 13-megapixel front camera. The phone has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and packs a 4050mAh battery.
Swiggy has launched ‘Swiggy Go’ a new pick-up and drop service that lets you ask for almost anything to be picked up and dropped off. “Forgot your house keys at work? Left your dabba at home? Need your clothes picked up from the tailor’s? Or got an important document to courier? Whatever the task at hand, make Swiggy Go!” says the company. Google-backed Dunzo already offers such services in several cities.
Swiggy Go is currently available in Bengaluru and will be rolled out to over 300 cities over the next one year. Swiggy Go feature is already live on the Swiggy app for update your Swiggy app to the latest version.

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has launched Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro smartphones in Pearl White colors that joins the existing Carbon Black, Flame Red and Glacier Blue versions.
