HMD Global, The Home of Nokia Phones has announced the appointment of Adam Ferguson, former Marketing Director at OnePlus Europe. He will be responsible for product marketing strategy and implementation for the complete portfolio of Nokia Phones. Before OnePlus, he had held marketing positions at EE, Nestlé and Unilever. Today the company has confirmed that POCO Pop Buds got the highest share of votes (42.4% out of a total 21,416 votes), thereby confirming the name of the upcoming product. Apple introduces Apple Watch Pride Edition, releases watchOS 6.2.5 update

Similar to how Apple’s (Product) Red devices directly support programs to treat HIV/ AIDS, Apple has introduced new Pride Edition band and face collection for the Apple Watch, in support of LGBTQ organizations around the world. The Pride Edition Watch faces will come along with the watchOS 6.2.5 update that brings other improvements, bugs fixes, etc.

Vivo’s iQOO brand just announced iQOO Z1 5G the company’s latest 5G smartphone in China as it had promised. It has a 6.57-inch FHD+ 20:9 LCD screen with 90.4% screen-to-body ratio, 144Hz refresh rate (with option to switch between 144, 120 and 90Hz) and houses a 16-megapixel front camera in the punch-hole screen. It is powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC with support for liquid cooling, 5G SA/NSA dual-mode, comes with up to 8GB of LPDD4X RAM and has a large side-mounted fingerprint sensor that can unlock the phone in 0.16 seconds and also doubles up as a power button.

HUAWEI has announced HUAWEI P40 lite 5G, the company’s latest mid-range 5G smartphone for the European market, starting from Italy. It was introduced as Nova 7 SE 5G in China last month.
