Samsung Galaxy S Lite Luxury Edition with 5.8-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display, Snapdragon 660, water-resistant body announced

Samsung has finally introduced the rumored Galaxy S8 Lite smartphone as Samsung Galaxy S Lite Luxury Edition (SM-G8750) in China. It has a 5.8-inch Full HD+ Infinity display, is powered by Snapdragon 660 with 4GB RAM, comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera, both with f/1.7 aperture. It runs Android 8.0 (Oreo) with Samsung’s own experience UI on top. Samsung Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+ with Super AMOLED Infinity displays launched in India starting at Rs. 21990

Samsung along with the new J series smartphones, also introduced its Galaxy A6 smartphones that were introduced earlier this month.  Both the phones come with Super AMOLED Infinity displays with 18.5:9 screen ratio, but the A6 comes with a 5.6-inch HD+ screen while the A6+ features a 6-inch FHD+ screen. Samsung Galaxy J6 and Galaxy J8 with Super AMOLED Infinity displays launched in India starting at Rs. 13990

Samsung just launched the Galaxy J6 and Galaxy J8, the company’s latest smartphone in the ‘J Series’ in India, as expected. The J6 and J8 have  5.6-inch and 6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED 18.5: 9 Infinity 2.5D curved glass displays. The J6 is powered by an Octa-Core Exynos 7870 14nm SoC, while the J8 comes with Snapdragon 450 with up to 4GB of RAM. Moto G6 with 5.7-inch FHD+ display, dual rear cameras and Moto G6 Play with 4000mAh battery launching in India on June 4

Update: Motorola India has just sent out invites for the launch of G6 and G6 Play on June 6th. It also confirmed that the G6 will be launched exclusively on Amazon India and the G6 Play will be available exclusively on Flipkart online. Both these will also be available through Moto Hub Stores.

OnePlus 6 Camera Samples

OnePlus launched its flagship  OnePlus 6 smartphone in India last week, ad the phone comes with a new camera sensor. It equips a 16-megapixel primary rear camera with f/1.7 aperture 1.22µm pixel Sony IMX519 sensor with Contrast Detection Auto-Focus, Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) along with Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS), compared to Sony IMX398 sensor on the 5T, which lacked OIS. It retains the same secondary 20-megapixel secondary camera with f/1.7 aperture 1.0 µm pixel Sony IMX371 sensor as the 5T to capture depth information in portrait shots. OnePlus 6 Benchmarks and Gaming Review – Snapdragon 845 with Adreno 630 GPU and 8GB RAM

OnePlus launched its flagship  OnePlus 6 smartphone in India last week. We already brought you the unboxing of the phone, here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. The OnePlus 6 is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 845 10nm Mobile Platform with that has four custom Kryo 385 Performance cores clocked at 2.8GHz per core and four smaller Efficiency Kryo 280 cores are clocked at 1.8GHz per core and has Adreno 630 GPU,  8GB LPDDR4x RAM, but this has a larger 6.28-inch 19:9 Full HD+ Optic AMOLED display and runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Oxygen OS 5.1. OnePlus 6 Review

OnePlus is one company which concentrates only on flagships instead of launching several smartphones. The Chinese handset maker finally launched this year’s flagship — the OnePlus 6, six months after the launch of OnePlus 5T. This has seen a completely new design compared to the predecessor, has a large screen with a notch, comes with a glass body, and  brings several new features such as OIS, water-resistance and more. Even though the phone looks premium and has top-end feature that most flagships have, the company is still keeping the cost low compared to others. Honor Play 7 with 5.45-inch 18:9 FullView display, Android 8.1 announced

Huawei’s Honor Brand has introduced Honor Play 7, which is the company’s latest budget smartphone in China. It was certified last month, and packs a 5.45-inch HD+ display, is powered by  MediaTek MT6739 SoC with 2GB RAM, comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, both with LED flash. Honor 7C with 5.99-inch 18:9 FullView display, Snapdragon 450, dual rear cameras launching in India on May 22 [Update: Honor 7A as well exclusively on Flipkart]

Flipkart has confirmed that Honor 7A will also launch in India alongside the Honor 7C next Tuesday. It was introduced in China last month at 799 yuan (US$ 126 / Rs. 8,250 approx.) for the 2GB RAM with 32GB storage version with single rear camera and 999 yuan (US$ 158 / Rs. 10,315 approx.) for the 3GB RAM with 32GB version with dual rear cameras. Samsung Galaxy J6 and Galaxy A6+ with Infinity display pricing surface ahead of India launch on May 21

Samsung has confirmed that it will launch Galaxy J6 smartphone in the ‘J series’ in India on May 21st. India will be one of the first countries to get the smartphone, and the company has confirmed that it will feature an Infinity display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The company will also launch the  Galaxy A6+ (SM-A605F) alongside, which was introduced earlier this month.

Android P beta available for OnePlus 6 on launch day [ Update: Now available for Download]

Update: As promised OnePlus has released Android P Beta for the OnePlus 6, soon after the announcement, and before it goes on sale next week. It also warns that some functions like VoLTE and Face Unlock doesn’t work. You can download Android P ROM from here and flash manually at your own risk. You can also easily roll back to Android Oreo by flashing the ROM here.  Check out the source link below for flashing instructions. The company said that it will release device trees and kernel sources for the phone soon.

Asus has officially introduced Zenfone Live L1 (ZA550KL), the company’s first Android Oreo (Go Edition) smartphone in Indonesia, after it surfaced earlier this month. It packs a 5.45-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 82% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 425 SoC with 2GB RAM or 3GB RAM, runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) Go Edition or Android 8.0 (Oreo) with ZenUI 5 depending on the version, has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera and also has face unlock.
