Honor 7A with 5.7-inch FullView display, dual rear cameras, Android 8.0 Oreo announced


Huawei’s Honor brand just announced Honor 7A, the latest budget smartphone, as it had promised. It has a 5.77-inch HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with 18:9 aspect ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 430 with up to 3GB RAM and runs on  Android 8.0 (Oreo) with EMUI 8.0 on top. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera to capture the depth information for portrait shots. There is also a base version with 13-megapixel single rear camera.

There is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with support for beauty mode, soft LED flash that can be adjusted depending on the lighting conditions. It also has face unlock similar to most of the Honor smartphones that can scan 1024 facial features. It has dedicated dual SIM as well as micro SD slots, has a fingerprint sensor on the back and packs a 3000mAh battery.

The Honor 7A comes in Black Gold and Blue colors, is priced at 799 yuan (US$ 126 / Rs. 8,250 approx.) for the 2GB RAM with 32GB storage version with single rear camera and the 3GB RAM with 32GB version with dual rear cameras costs 999 yuan (US$ 158 / Rs. 10,315 approx.). It is now available for order and will go on sale in China from April 3rd.
