Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (Tab 750) Android 4.0 update now rolling out in India

Samsung has started rolling out the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (Tab 750) in India. This 10.1-inch tablet was launched in India last August, and it came with Android 3.1 (Honeycomb). The Android ICS update would bring redesigned user interface with new TouchWiz UI, improved multi-tasking, notifications, faster browser and much more new features. It would also download new Ebook app from the Samsung Apps once you enter the App Store for the first time, after the update. HTC One S and Desire C get a price cut in India

HTC One S and Desire C has got a price cut and are available for Rs. 28,900 and Rs. 12,700, according to our friends at Mahesh Telecom. The HTC One S was officially launched in India in June for MOP (Best Buy) of Rs. 33,590 and the Desire C officially launched in India at the end of June for MOP (Best Buy)  price of Rs 14,999. LG teases quad-core smartphone with Snapdragon S4 Pro in a new video

LG Korea has posted a new video and a new teaser site for their upcoming quad-core smartphone with Snapdragon S4 Pro processor. Qualcomm announced yesterday that they would supply Snapdragon S4 Pro to LG for a new quad-core smartphone. This video doesn’t explain much, other than the CPU and GPU. From the blank spaces in the site, we can expect 5 more videos in coming weeks that might reveal details about the Camera, Display and Battery of the device. Samsung Galaxy Note 800 (Note 10.1) launched in India for Rs. 39,990


Samsung has launched the Galaxy Note 800 (Note 10.1) in India. The pre-booking for the 10-inch tablet started on the Samsung eStore last week. It packs in a 10.1-inch WXGA (1280 x 800 pixel) TFT display, 1.4 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.0(Ice Cream Sandwich). Facebook for iPhone and iPad updated to v5.0, brings faster experience

Facebook for iPhone and iPad received the major update to version 5.0. The new app has been built from ground up using the native SDK rather than the previous versions that used HTML5. LG quad-core phone with Snapdragon S4 Pro coming in September


Qualcomm has announced that they would supply Snapdragon S4 Pro to LG for their new quad-core smartphones. This would also come with 3G/LTE multi-mode capabilities. LG’s latest phone Optimus 4X HD that launched recently in India and the global variant of the Optimus Vu with the Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and the Samsung Exynos 4 Quad processor in the Global variant of the Galaxy S3 lacks LTE capabilities. Feel on app for Android and iPhone turns Twitter feed into comics

Feel on! for Twitter by a Japanese company L is B Corporation turns your twitter timeline into comics by analyzing text data. You can choose illustration of famous anime and game characters, attach to your tweets and send. You can also use the Normal Mode to read tweets. The Japanese version was launched in April 2011 that has more than 250,000 users. The English version was launched for Android last month and for iPhone earlier this month.

Acer Liquid Gallant and Liquid Gallant Duo with 4.3-inch display, Android 4.0 announced

Acer has announced 2 new phones, Liquid Gallant and Liquid Gallant Duo. The Liquid Gallant is Single SIM and Liquid Gallant Duo is a Dual-SIM variant that share similar specs. The Liquid Gallant Duo was spotted at Expansys last month at a price of 149 GBP (US$230) but later removed. These phones come with a 4.3-inch (960×540) display, 1GHz processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has 5MP auto focus camera with LED flash. These phones have power button on the back of the phone to access it comfortably.
