Samsung ATIV S : First Windows Phone 8 device announced with 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display

Samsung has announced ATIV S, the first device to run Windows Phone 8 OS. It has a 4.8 inch HD Super AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass protection and is powered by 1.5 GHz dual-core processor. It comes with an 8 Megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and 1.9 Megapixel front-facing camera. It can record and play Full HD videos at 1080p. It is 8.7 mm thick and weighs 135 grams. It has brushed aluminum body and a physical Windows button at the bottom instead of capacitive one. WishTel launches IRA Comet HD 10.1-inch tablet running Android 4.0 for Rs. 9999

WishTel, the company which launched IRA THING 2 last month, has come up with IRA Comet HD, their first tablet with a 10.1-inch display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz processor and has 1 GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has a 2MP rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. Samsung introduces 64GB Ultra High Speed microSD cards for LTE Smartphones and Tablets

Samsung has introduced 64GB Ultra High Speed-1 (UHS-1) MicroSD cards for LTE (Long Term Evolution) smartphones and tablets. They introduced 16GB UHS-1 card earlier this April and already announced that they would offer higher capacity versions of the card. The new 64GB microSD card is part of Pro line-up. Microsoft launches SkyDrive app for Android

Microsoft has finally released the SkyDrive app for Android.  This app would let you view, upload and share files, photos and documents from your phone using your SkyDrive account. You can also view recently used documents and manage files from the app. The official SkyDrive app for Windows Phone and iPhone was launched last December. LG Optimus L9 with 1 GHz dual-core processor, 4.7-inch IPS display, Android 4.0 announced

LG has announced the Optimus L9, their new phone in the L series. It comes with a 4.7-inch IPS display and is powered by 1 GHz dual-core processor. It runs on  Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has a 5MP rear camera with LED Flash and a VGA front-facing camera. It has Metallic Streak around the body and has 2,150 mAh battery with SiO+ technology similar to the Optimus 4X HD. Firefox for Android v15.0 brings new tablet UI, Swipe gesture to close tabs and more

Mozilla has updated the Firefox app for Android to version 15.0 that brings Native UI for Tablets, including faster startup and Awesome Bar that lets you access Top Sites, Bookmarks, and History. This update also includes features such as option to request Desktop sites, swipe gesture to close tabs and more new features. Samsung unveils Brown, Red, Black and Grey Galaxy S3

 

Samsung has announced that the Galaxy S3 would be available in new range of colors, Amber Brown, Garnet Red, Sapphire Black and Titanium Grey, globally. The Red Galaxy S3 was exclusively launched for AT&T in July and it was spotted in Germany last week. Karbonn A18, the company’s new Android Smartphone is now available from online retailer Flipkart. It has a 4.3-inch IPS WVGA Capacitive Multi Touch display and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS. It is powered by 1 GHz processor and has Dual SIM support. eBuddy XMS messaging app now available for Nokia S40 and S60 devices from Nokia Store

eBfuddy has released their Ebuddy XMS, cross platform messaging app for Nokia S40, Symbian ^1 and Symbian ^3 devices in the Nokia Store. It was released in the Nokia BetaLabs earlier this month. It lets you send free messages to XMS contacts using your data connection and also lets you send pictures, have a group conversation with up to 30 contacts. This app is already available for Android, iPhone, BlackBerry, Windows Phone and Meego. LG Optimus G with 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, 4.7-inch True HD IPS+ display, Android 4.0 announced

LG has finally unveiled the Optimus G (LG-F180), their new flagship smartphone. They already revealed that it would have a Snapdragon S4 pro quad-core processor and  True HD IPS display with  G2 Touch Hybrid Display and better battery. Now, they have officially announced the device. It has a 4.7-inch (1280 x 768 pixels) True HD IPS + Display and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor.  It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and comes with a 13MP camera with an LED flash at the back and a 1.3MP front-facing camera. iBall Andi 5c Dual SIM phone with 5-inch display, Android 4.0 launched for Rs. 12,999

iBall has launched Andi 5c which is their new Android Smartphone with a 5-inch (480×800 pixels) IPS capacitive touch screen display. It is powered by a 1 GHz Cortex A9 Processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has a 5MP Auto Focus Camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP front-facing camera for video calling. It also comes with G-sensor, Proximity sensor and light sensor and features such as Face unlock, gallery app with photo editor, red-eye remover and more. This would compete with the recently launched Micromax A100.

Intex AQUA 4.0 Dual SIM Android phone launched for Rs. 5490

Intex has launched AQUA 4.0, their first Android Smartphone with Dual SIM support. It comes with a 3.5-inch (480×320 pixels) and is powered by 800 MHz processor. It runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It has a 3MP rear camera and a front-facing 0.3MP camera and includes, Gravity, Light and Proximity sensors that are not usually present on a budget Android phone.
