Samsung has announced that they have sold 50,000 Galaxy S III LTE units through three major Korean mobile carriers on the launch day. Samsung launched the Galaxy S III in Korea last month and launched the Galaxy S III LTE on 9th of July. This is a new record in sales, Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy S II sold 10,000 and 24,000 units respectively on the first day. MTS has reduced their existing tariff plans and has also introduced new plans for MBlaze customers in Mumbai, Maharashtra and Goa Circles. Rs. 96 plan would now offer 1 GB Unlimited data with 1 day validity instead of 500MB. They have also introduced Rs. 698 plan with 4 GB of free data with 60 days validity. Other select plans would offer 2 times more data (Eg: Rs 998 that offered 3GB of free data would now offer 6GB of free data with 90 days validity).
