Asus has launched Transformer Pad TF103 and Transformer Book T200 tablets in India. The Asus Transformer Pad TF103 is an Android tablet running Android 4.4 (KitKat) and the Transformer Book T200 is a portable Windows 8.1 tablet with a 11.6-inch screen that transforms into a laptop with a full-size keyboard dock. BlackBerry has started taking pre-order for the BlackBerry Classic, the company’s latest top-end smartphone with a physical QWERTY keyboard. Nokia Networks has announced that it has grabbed a 3G contract from Bharti Airtel that includes India-first dual band, dual carrier 3G network implementation, refarming 900 MHz to complement Mumbai’s existing 3G network on 2100 MHz. This would enable advanced radio platform and services, thus improved 3G services for Bharti Airtel’s customers in Mumbai, West Bengal and Bihar telecom circles, said the company. Google removed messaging app on Nexus devices and released an updated Hangouts app that combines SMS and Hangouts conversation. Now Google has released a separate messaging app called Messenger instead of using Hangouts as the messaging app. It can handle both SMS and MMS and lets you share pictures and videos from the chat dialog, search contacts and conversations, block SMSs, send audio messages, send emjios and more.
