Micromax Canvas Mega E353 went on sale online last month, today the company has officially launched the smartphone along with the Canvas Mega 4G Q417, its new 4G smartphone. Both the smartphones have 5.5-inch HD screens, 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, run on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) and have dual SIM support. The Canvas Mega E353 is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592M processor and has 1GB RAM, while the Canvas Mega 4G is powered a quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor and packs 3GB of RAM. Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G to get Android 6.0 update in select regions

Motorola confirmed Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update for range of smartphones back in October. At that time it did not include Moto E series and first generation Moto X and Moto G phones, but it had said it might add more devices in the future. Now the company has announced add the Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G in the list and said that it will get the Marshmallow update in Canada, Latin America, Europe and Asia, excluding China. The iOS 9.2 update brings Apple Music improvements, new Top Stories section in News, Mail Drop in Mail for sending large attachments, new feature in iBooks, Arabic language support for Siri and lots more new features, bug fixes and improvements. It also adds support for Apple’s Lightning to SD Card Reader that lets you shoot photos and videos from dedicated cameras and import them to iPhones. Apple introduces iPhone 6s Smart Battery Case for $99

Apple has introduced its first Smart Battery Case for the iPhone 6s. Apple doesn’t reveal the battery capacity of the case, but it promises increased talk time up to 25 hours, Internet use up to 18 hours on LTE, and video playback of up to 20 hours when using the case. The case will also show intelligent battery status on the iPhone Lock screen and in Notification Center, so you know exactly how much charge you have left. Oppo R7 Plus high-end version with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage announced

Oppo introduced the R7 Plus smartphone back in May, and the smartphone was launched in India for Rs. 29,990 in India in September. Today the company has announced the high-end version of the R7 Plus with 4GB of RAM and a 64GB of internal storage, compared to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage in the standard version.

Vodafone launches 4G LTE services in India starting from Kochi

Vodafone has launched its 4G LTE services in Kochi, Kerala in India, as expected. It is based on 1800MHz FDD-LTE band 3, which the company acquired last year. It is offering free 4G upgrade with a SIM, with a trial pack of 120MB at Rs 29 and a bonanza pack of 20GB at Rs. 2499. Vodafone 4G services will be available to customers in Kochi starting from December 14. Vodafone already announced that it will roll out 4G services in Trivandrum and Kozhikode in Kerala in the first wave of the roll-out in a phased manner. Google has announced that it has started rolling out minor Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) for some Nexus devices, after it started rolling out for the some Android One devices recently. Google has also released Android 6.0.1 factory images (build MMB29K) for the Nexus 5, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6, Nexus 6P, Nexus 7 (2013), Nexus 9 and also for the Nexus Player (build Nexus MMB29M). This update  brings updated emojis for these Nexus devices that include, volleyball, taco, middle finger, champagne bottle, as well as new faces for sickness, thinking, and rolling eyes.
