OnePlus 3 Soft Gold version coming in late July

OnePlus launched its flagship OnePlus 3 smartphone in Graphite and Soft Gold colors earlier this week. The Graphite variant of the smartphone went on open sale in several countries without invites soon after the launch, but the company said that it will launch the Soft Gold version in a later date. Now the company’s co-founder Carl Pei has confirmed that the Soft Gold variant will go on sale sometime in late July.

Google Gboard keyboard for iPhone and iPad launched in Australia and UK, coming soon to India

Last month Google released Gboard, a new keyboard app for iOS devices in the U.S. that lets you search and send information, GIFs, emojis and more. Today it has released it in several countries, including UK, Australia, Canada and Ireland and will be available in India soon. In addition to GIF and emoji support, the keyboard also lets you use Glide Typing by sliding your finger from key to key instead of tapping. It has English US, English UK, English AU, English CA, and English IN, but Google is planning to add lots more languages in future versions.

Kingston has launched its affordable UV400 Solid State Drive in India. It is powered by a four-channel Marvell controller that promises read speeds of up to 550MB/s and write speeds of up to 500MB/s, and is 10x faster than a 7200RPM hard-disk drive (HDD). “Rugged and more reliable and durable than a hard drive, UV400 is built using Flash memory so it’s shock and vibration-resistant and less likely to fail than a mechanical hard drive,” said the company.

LG just announced four new smartphones – X Power, X Mach, X Style and X Max in its ‘X series’. It introduced X cam and X screen smartphones at the MWC 2016 earlier this year. The X Power and X Style was introduced in Ukraine a few weeks back, so we already know the specifications of both the smartphones, but detailed specs of other two is not known yet. LG said that the X Power with a 4,100mAh battery also comes with a fast charging (PE+) technology that would let you charge at twice the normal speed. Google has released developer preview 4 for Android ‘N’ for compatible Nexus devices, ahead of the final release of the update. The update doesn’t add any other new features, but it has final Android N SDK with final APIs (API level 24). Xiaomi Mi Max launching in India on June 30

Xiaomi’s VP just tweeted that “Something BIG is coming to blow you away on 30th June, Indian Mi fans”, along with the video that confirms that the Mi Max will indeed launch in India on June 30th. The phablet with a 6.44-inch 1080p display and  a huge 4850mAh battery was announced in China last month.
