Google has acquired Superpod which is a startup that had built a question-and-answer mobile app, according to reports. Google said to have paid the firm less than $60 million to acquire founders and purchase some of Superpod’s assets.

Samsung said to be working on new IconX earbuds

Samsung is said to be working on the newer version of the Gear IconX earbuds along with the Gear Sport and Gear Fit 2 successor. The latest IconX earbuds come with model number SM-R170 and will be available in black, white, and yellow colors. WIPO and USPTO published a patent of an LG smartwatch and method for controlling same on December 20, 2018. The patent hints at a smartwatch with a camera in the watch band. Google gets FCC approval for new radar-based motion sensor

Google has won approval from U.S. regulators to deploy a radar-based motion sensing device known as Project Soli, said the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in an order. It has granted Google a waiver to operate the Soli sensors at higher power levels than currently allowed. The FCC said the sensors can also be operated aboard aircraft.
