Qualcomm at its second annual summit has showcased its Aqstic Hi-Fi DAC; AQT1000 as headphone jack is slowly becoming obsolete. The Qualcomm-made audio DAC supports playback of formats at up to 384KHz and 32 bits, including the obscure DSD format. Earlier this year it introduced Aqstic USB-C Headset Code WHS9420, single chip USB audio SoC platforms designed specifically for USB-C connected audio devices. Apple wins EU trademark case preventing Xiaomi from trademarking Mi Pad in Europe

Apple has successfully stopped Xiaomi from trademarking Mi Pad tablet in Europe as an EU trademark as the name was too similar to Apple’s iPad. The European Union’s second-highest court, the General Court has ruled against Xiaomi and said that it should not register as a trademark. Amazon Prime Video finally arrives for Apple TV, gets optimized for iPhone X

Amazon Prime Video has finally launched on AppleTV and is also optimized for iPhone X as well. Apple tvOS owners will no longer have to rely on AirPlay to stream content through Prime video. Amazon Prime Video for tvOS first leaked in May, and it took close to 6 months of time for the company to finalize the deal with Apple.
