Vivo X5Max with just 4.75mm thickness scheduled to launch in India on 15th December

Just a few weeks back we saw the Vivo X5Max being certified in China and now it looks like the handset is making its way to our shores. Arguably the world’s slimmest handset, the phone has a thickness of just 4.75mm. This makes it slimmer than the already wafer thin Gionee S5.1.

Samsung Gear VR Innovator Edition to be available in the US starting December 2014

Sapphire glass supplier, GT Advanced Technologies, files for bankruptcy

GT Advanced Technologies, a company that specializes in supplying engineered sapphire glass has just filed for bankruptcy. The company had entered into a contract with Apple last year to supply sapphire crystal glass for upcoming products.

While it was speculated that Apple would be using sapphire glass on the iPhone 6, it instead opted to use its own version of reinforced glass instead.
