Meta has announced new Reels tools for Facebook and Instagram. The firm is introducing an “Add Yours” sticker feature for Reels on both the platforms. The sticker enables users to reply to other users’ Reels on a particular topic or in response to a request. You could share a Reel with an Add Yours prompt, for instance, asking people to post clips of their pets. Meta is testing default end-to-end encryption for Messenger

Meta has unveiled several new Messenger app features and also confirmed that with the upcoming update, personal messages and calls will be encrypted end-to-end by default. One of the most interesting new features is “safe storage,” which lets users back up their end-to-end encrypted Messenger conversations and then get them back with a PIN or a code that the app generates. Facebook is getting new Feeds tab — Here’s how it works

The Meta-owned Facebook app is getting a revamp to its interface. This time it’s not the design changes, instead the company has split up the content we consume on the news feed (i.e. the feed we see when opening the app).
