Sony India introduced a range of new headphones in India and we got a chance to test them out briefly. While we’ve already brought you our impressions of the very innovative 3 in 1 headset, here’s the Sony MDR-10RNC headphone with built in active noise cancellation.

The headphones look quite appealing with the matte black and silver finish appearing quite elegant. A red border runs on the inside of the outer module. The ear pad cushioning is very comfortable and we could see ourselves wearing this for hours without any issues. The seal that is essential for proper noise cancellation too is very good.

Sony-MDR-10RNC-3In our experience, the audio quality was a bit of hit or miss. Switching on noise cancellation cut off the bass channels which is definitely noticeable in bass heavy genres like R&B. That said, cancellation is very effective in cutting off practically any outside disturbance. The headset is priced at Rs. 14,990.
