Today, Union Railways Minister Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu while presenting Railway Budget 2016-17 in Parliament said that the Indian Railways in partnership with Google offer Wi-Fi services at 400 stations across India in the next 2 years. Volvo today announced that it plans to become the world’s first car manufacturer to offer cars without keys from 2017. Idea today launched its 4G LTE services in Chennai, as it had promised back in December, when it launched 4G services in across 75 Towns in Southern India, including Madurai, Tiruchirappalli, Tirunelveli, Tiruppur and Kancheepuram. Idea 4G is now available in 29 towns of Tamil Nadu and Chennai. It is available in 20 districts, including major towns of Chennai, Madurai, Trichy, Salem, Tirunelveli, Vellore, Erode & Tirupur, covering 30% of the total population of the circle. Airtel 4G is available to customers across mobile phones, dongles, 4G hotspots and Wi-Fi dongles in the city. Vodafone has launched its 4G LTE services in Bengaluru, as it announced yesterday, after launching it in Kerala, Mysore, Kolkata, Delhi & NCR and Mumbai. It will first roll out in business and residential corridors such as Jayanagar, Basavangudi, JP Nagar, Electronic City, Bangalore International Airport, Whitefield, BTM. Vodafone has launched its 4G LTE services in Mumbai, as it had promised last week, after launching it in n Kerala, Mysore, Kolkata and Delhi & NCR. Vodafone said that it will be rolled out in key business & residential corridors of Mumbai across Western suburbs & South Mumbai in a phased manner, and the roll-out will be completed across all parts of Mumbai including Eastern suburbs & New Mumbai license areas by the end of March 2016.

After successfully launching 4G LTE in Kerala, Mysore, Kolkata and Delhi & NCR, Vodafone is all set to launch its 4G services in Mumbai on February 10th, Wednesday. According to ET, it will launch its 4G services in Bengaluru on February 11th, Thursday. Idea Cellular has launched its 4G LTE services across 12 towns in Orissa, after it launched 4G services in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Haryana and Punjab regions. It launched 4G services across five states in South India – Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Telangana in December last year. Vodafone has launched its 4G LTE services in Delhi and NCR, as it had promised last week, after launching it in Kerala, Mysore and Kolkata. It is based on 1800MHz FDD-LTE band 3, which the company acquired last year. Vodafone said that it is now available in prominent business and residential corridors of Guragon, and the the roll out will be completed in all parts of Delhi & NCR in phased manner.
