Video : BlackBerry Playbook Web Browser and Multimedia Demo

BlackBerry PlayBook is the upcoming Tablet from RIM and it does have some impressive features. Now the folks at Blackberry have shared a video which highlights the web browser’s multimedia capabilities. It plays HTML 5 videos , full youtube videos without any delay. The pages also load pretty fast similar to a desktop. And since the Playbook supports Adobe Flash , you can also play Flash Games without leaving the browser. Video : Motorola Android Tablet running HoneyComb

Back in December we told you about Android chief Andy Rubin showing off a prototype Motorola Android Tablet at the Dive Into Mobile conference. The next version of Android aka HoneyComb was spotted on this device and now we have the demo on video , thanks to a enthusiastic reader . The chances that this prototype tablet is the Motorola XOOM are pretty high !

The Nokia N8 goes for a Dive in Australia!

Never afraid to try something awesome, my good Friend Chris Stobbs took his Nokia N8 out for a dive lately. Yes, a dive! He explains in the Video Info that “This is a video I created using only the N8 and an overboard underwater case. All editing was done on the N8.” I love it, and if anyone wanna gift me a ticket to fly to Australia and join Chris in THAT awesome looking water, i would definitely appreciate this! 🙂

HTC Desire Z Unboxing

Nokia C7: 2 hidden features revealed!

I’m trialing the brand new Nokia C7 theses days, and gotta say i really like the phone! I won’t spoil too much in detail for now, but i wanna say this: if you’re up for a classy, stylish phone with great material quality, the C7 is something you should definitely have a look at. I met with Christoph from Nokia Austria today for a relaxed tech chat and he showed me two cool features i didn’t know about the Nokia C7 yet! While the first one, is not exactly spectacular, the second one definitely comes in handy!

1. Menu Key Light turns red if you mute a call

Very handy feature for conference calls etc.

2. hidden LED Flashlight feature!!

This. is. awesome.

Nokia N8 + Full USB Keyboard = Awesome wpm !

Just when we were struggling with the Nokia N8 T9 keyboard, we spotted a spare PC USB keyboard lying in our office . We decided to connect the wired keyboard to the N8 using the USB OTG feature. It will certainly boost your wpm score( words per minute) . Michael already showed that you can control the N8 with a Keyboard and Mouse via Bluetooth. But we are kinda surprised that it works over a wired connection too. BTW a USB Mouse works as well .

LG Optimus One P500 Unboxing

Here are some unboxing pictures and a video of the LG Optimus One (P500) which landed at the FoneArena HQ earlier this week. LG calls this device a transitional smartphone and it packs a 3.2 inch capacitive touchscreen , is powered by 600MHz processor along with a 1500mAh battery. It sports a 3 MP Camera on the back. Since it runs on FroYo out of the box you can use the phone as a WiFi hotspot.

Video: Unboxing of the Nokia C7

I received a brand new Nokia C7 today (huge thanks to Nokia Austria), in the fantastic looking black charcoal colour. I got struck by the awesome feel again, the whole device is very nicely built and will definitely surprise you, if you think its just a cheap quality rip off. I decided to do an unboxing video for the first time in years, and also tested waters to film with my Canon EOS 500D. So go easy on me guys, i usually don’t do much videos, but definitely wanna get more into it 🙂 I’m gonna test the symbian^3-powered, Nokia C7 thoroughly in the next 3 weeks, which will result in one or more review posts! The Commuter – Short film shot just with a Nokia N8

Yesterday I was invited to the premiere of The Commuter at Aqua Nueve, in Soho London. The short film stars Dev Patel (Slumdog Millionaire), Pamela Anderson, Ed Westwick and Charles Dance, and is directed by the McHenry Brothers. The premiere was attended by Charles Dance, Pamela Anderson, Peta’s Dan Matthews and Jermaine Jackson of the Jackson 5.
