Facebook Creative Labs has launched Hello for Android, a new Caller ID app that shows you who’s calling you, even if you have not saved the person’s number in your phone.The app also lets you block unwanted calls that go straight to voicemail, which can be reviewed in your recent calls. This directly competes with Truecaller that offers the same caller ID and blocking features. Adobe has updated its Android and iOS apps with new features. The Android app gets tablet support finally along with DNG raw file support for Lollipop devices. It also now lets you store images to the SD card. The iPhone and iPad apps get redesigned crop that lets you auto-straighten images, option to sign up for a free 30-day trial within the app and TIFF file support.

WhatsApp hits 800 million active users
WhatsApp continues to increase its active user base. It reached 700 million monthly active users back in January earlier this year. Today the company’s CEO and founder Jan Koum revealed that WhatsApp now has 800 million monthly active users worldwide, adding 100 million users in just 3 months, faster than last time. It took 4 months to reach 700 million active users from 600 million.
