Apple has released minor iOS 9.0.2 update (Build 13A452) for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices, a week after releasing iOS 9.0.1 update and two weeks after releasing major iOS 9.0 update for these devices. The 72.5MB update includes several bug fixes and improvements for these devices that are related to app cellular data usage, iMessage activation, iCloud backup, notifications and Podcasts app. Check out the complete changelog. The Honor 4C actually got the update on September 21st, earlier this week, and the Honor 6 got the update today, as the company promised last month. The Android 5.1 update brings new features, functionalities and improved user experience with visual refinements along with the new Emotion UI 3.1 update. Apple releases iOS 9.0.1 update with bug fixes, iOS 9.1 beta 2 for developers

Apple has released minor iOS 9.0.1 update for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices, a week after it released the major iOS 9.0 update for these devices that is already running on more than 50% of iOS devices. Google has introduced two new features for Gmail. The new block feature lets you block specific email addresses and the unsubscribe option will enable you to opt out of eligible mailing lists directly from the Gmail app, which comes handy for unnecessary newsletters. Once you block someone, future emails from them will directly go to spam folder, skipping inbox, but you can unblock them anytime from the Settings. Google’s Clock app for Android gets gradually increasing volume, timer ringtone and more

Google published its Clock app for Android on Google Play Store back in June. Few hours back the app got updated to version 4.2 from version 4.0.2 that brings several new features and visual changes. Motorola starts rolling out Stagefright patches for its smartphones globally

Motorola announced last month that it will offer patches for Stagefright exploit. Few days back it announced that it has started rolling out updates with Stagefright fixes for its smartphones globally. The Moto X Play and Moto X Style smartphones come with security patches out of the box. Motorola is rolling out new updates for Moto X (1st Gen, 2nd Gen), Moto G (1st Gen, 2nd Gen, 3rd Gen) Moto G with 4G LTE 1st Gen, Moto E (1st Gen, 2nd Gen) and Moto E 4G LTE (2nd Gen). All these include fixes for the latest vulnerability in the Stagefright library (CVE-2015-3864).

Periscope live streaming app finally gets landscape support

Twitter had been adding new features for Periscope every few weeks, since the launch, now it has finally added support for landscape mode.
