Qualcomm has announced its new Zeroth Platform at the MWC 2015. It is optimized for premium mobile devices based on Snapdragon 820 processor. It uses custom 64-bit CPU architecture in their own ARMv8-based Qualcomm Kryo CPU. It will be based on FinFET process node, but currently it is not clear if it will be based on 16nm or 14nm process. Huawei Watch IFA 2015 Hands On

Huawei took wraps of latest Android Wear smartwatch at its MWC 2015 press event in Barcelona. The wrist gear from Huawei is a direct competition to LG’s Urbane, but is more compact and has bigger, sharper screen. We had a chance to spend some time with the Huawei Watch and here’s our hands-on report.

Huawei is using cold-forged stainless steel to build its smartwatch. The device has a compact 42mm in diameter casing and is about 11.3mm thick. The wearable is quite light when compared to a regular watch. We are happy to report that there’s no gap between and wrist band and the body unlike the LG Watch Urbane. Alcatel OneTouch has announced Orange Klif, the company’s latest Firefox OS smartphone in partnership with the French operator Orange. It has a 3.5-inch HVGA screen, is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor and comes with a 2-megapixel rear camera. This even has 3G connectivity and Dual SIM support. It runs on Firefox OS 2.0. Lenovo A7000 Hands On

The successor of the A6000, the phone supports 4G LTE and is also the world’s first smartphone with Dolby ATMOS support, offering an immersive audio experience. We went hand on with the phone at the event and here is a walkthrough at the hardware.

Microsoft announced the Lumia 640, successor of Lumia 630 at the MWC 2015 earlier today. It has a 5-inch HD ClearBlack IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and runs on Windows Phone 8.1 OS with Lumia Denim. A closer look at the HTC One M9’s design

Before announcing the One M9 at an event today in Barcelona, HTC was keen to emphasize design, with a video that detailed the company’s previous efforts. Starting with the M7 and eventually leading up to its latest flagship device, the video was meant to tell you only one thing – HTC is really serious about design. This has been evident in their products ever since the M7, the leading design that has trickled down really well in their portfolio, even with different materials in devices like the Desire 820. The Re camera is also an example of good design, where ergonomics have taken higher preference. In the One M9’s case, it’s metal. As we had mentioned in our hands on, the One M9 is a product of refinement, with subtle changes in design that easily escape attention.
