At their Unleashed event today, Apple announced a new subscription tier for their Apple Music music streaming service, simply called the Voice Plan. As the name suggests, this new tier is designed to work with Apple’s Siri voice assistant, and offers many of the same benefits as the more expensive subscription tiers.
At the ‘Unleashed’ event, Apple launched its 3rd generation AirPods, as expected. It has a new design, same as the AirPods Pro, and also supports spatial audio with dynamic head tracking, longer battery life and also comes with Adaptive EQ powered by computational audio. There are new force sensor controls for easy and intuitive control of music and phone calls, and it also supports wireless charging. vivo has launched Y3s, the company’s latest smartphones in the Y series, in India. It features a 6.51-inch HD+ Halo FullView display, comes with 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, face and the phone is powered by Helio P35 SoC, but it doesn’t have a fingerprint scanner. After the vivo S10 and S10 Pro smartphones that were introduced back in July, vivo today introduced the S10e, the company’s latest mid-range 5G smartphone in China. It has a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with notch that house a 32MP front camera. Compared to Dimensity 1100 in the S10 and S10 Pro, the S10e is powered by Dimensity 900. It has 8GB of RAM with 4GB of additional virtual RAM and runs Android 11 with OriginOS on top. It is just 7.49 mm thick and feature an aviation aluminum frame and weigh 175 grams. HMD Global today launched the XR20, the company’s latest rugged smartphone, in India after teasing it last week. It is a waterproof phone (IP68) with a sleek casing that is made to the MIL-STD-810H military standard, has 1.5m drop protection, can be submerged to depths of 1.5m for 30 minutes, and the company says that it is built for conditions far harsher than the rough and tumble of everyday life. OnePlus just launched the OnePlus Watch Harry Potter Limited Edition in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP). vivo today confirmed the launch of its T1 series of smartphones that includes the T1 and T1x tomorrow, October 19th. The company has posted the images of the phones on its official site, confirming the design. The T1 recently got certified by TENAA with the model number V2115A that reveals the complete specifications of the phone, which resembles the iQOO Z5. Dell has announced two new additions to their Latitude Rugged portfolio, called the Latitude 5430 Rugged and Latitude 7330 Rugged Extreme. The Latitude 5430 Rugged is a lightweight, 14-inch semi-rugged laptop with 5G capability, while the Latitude 7330 Rugged Extreme is a 13-inch fully-rugged laptop, also with 5G capability.
