Qualcomm announced its own Smartwatch – the Toq with a Mirasol display back in September, which would go on sale in the U.S. for $349.99 starting December 2nd. Now the Appscomm Fashioncomm A1 Smartwatch has used the same on its own Smartwatch. The Mirasol technology enables an always-on 1.55-inch MEMS display with the battery life lasting more number of days than a standard display. Apart from the usual set of features seen in the Smartwatch including a G-sensor for pedometer and Bluetooth, this also has a micro SIM slot to make and receive phone calls and read or send text messages. Flipkart released a native Android app few months back, now the online retailer has released a new app for iPhone. The app lets you navigate through products, search using filters, read reviews, track your order and more. It is not clear when the company plans to launch an app for iPad. Gionee is all set to launch the Elife E7 later today in Shanghai, China. Now the specifications of the smartphone has surfaced on a Taiwanese website along with the Elife E7 mini with a 4.7-inch 720p display. We already know that the Elife E7 would feature a Qualcomm 8974AC quad-core chip clocked at 2.5 GHz, this chip would be available only in the LTE version and the 3G variant would feature a 2.2 GHz Snapdragon 800 chip, reveals the new leak. The phone would feature a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS touch screen display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a 2.33mm narrow bezel. It is rumored to feature a 16-megapixel auto focus rear camera and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone is expected to come with 2GB RAM for the 16GB variant and 3GB RAM for the 32GB variant. Futuremark released the 3D mark Android benchmark app earlier this year. Since a lot of mobile manufactures are said to be cheating to show up higher scores on several benchmarks, the company has released a new update and has also announced that the company would delist devices that are suspicious. When a device is suspected of breaking the rules it is delisted. 3DMark scores from delisted devices should not be used to compare devices. Delisted devices appear unranked, and without scores, at the bottom of the 3DMark Device Channel and the Best Mobile Devices list on our website, says the company. LINE corporation, a Japanese-based company has announced that LINE has crossed over 300 million users worldwide, since its launch in June 2011. Back in June Whatsapp announced that they have crossed 250 million active users, LINE just says that they have achieved 300 million registered users. LINE was launched in India in July, and at that time the company claimed that they had 180 million users. LINE India says that they have reached 10 million users in the first 3 months after the launch, and plans to grab 20 million user share by the end of 2013. As the first phones get the Android 4.4 KitKat update, Samsung and HTC have both begun preparing for the roll out to Google Play Edition devices. Samsung has posted the kernel source for the GPe Galaxy S4 online at its open source website. The download size of the source is 399MB and has all the open source parts of the update. Apple introduced the iPhone 5s gold edition recently, BlackBerry launched the Q10 Gold Edition and even Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S4 Gold edition in Gold Brown and Gold Pink colors for select markets.
