Russia’s Yota Devices has been announced YotaPhone 3 at an event at Russian Embassy in Beijing. It was first unveiled at the Russian-Chinese Expo back in June. Samsung GearFit2 Pro, successor of last year’s Gear Fit 2 yesterday appeared on Samsung Spain and Malaysia sites briefly before it was pulled. It has model number SM-R365 and comes with similar 1.5-inch Curved Super AMOLED screen and runs Tizen OS, but this comes with a new watch-style clasp.

Reliance Jio unveiled JioPhone, the company’s first VoLTE feature phone last month. It will start pre-bookings for the phone from 5:30PM today. At the launch it revealed some of the specifications such as 2.4-inch QVGA screen,microSD slot, torch light, FM Radio, support for 22 major Indian languages and voice commands to call someone, reject a call, browse internet, open apps and more. It already confirmed NFC support, and said that tap-and-pay payments through UPI, credit and debit cards will be enabled through software update. Last year Google unveiled its Pixel smartphones on October 4th. This year it will unveil the second-generation Pixel phones powered by Snapdragon 836 on October 5th, according to @evleaks. Live images and earlier leaks of the phones already confirmed no 3.5mm headphone jack, front-facing stereo speakers, always-on display, squeezable frame, fingerprint sensor on the back and single rear camera for the phones.

Nokia 6 went on sale in India today for Rs. 14,999, exclusively on Amazon at 12PM today. HMD Global just announced that the phone sold out in less than a minute in the first flash sale, same thing that happened at the first sale in China. Swipe Technologies has launched Swipe Neo Power, the company’s latest budget 4G smartphone with VoLTE support. It has a 4-inch FWVGA display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, but it still runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), has only 512MB RAM and 4GB of storage. Google released Android 8.0 (Oreo) earlier this week for its Pixel and Nexus devices and also said that it is working with several OEMs including HTC to roll out the update by the end of this year. It a 5.5-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass display, similar to the predecessor, but this is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 Mobile platform instead of MediaTek Helio P10 SoC and also comes with a 12-megapixel primary rear camera with f/1.9 aperture, dual-tone quad-LED flash arranged in antenna lines and dual PD focusing technology for fast focus in just 0.0.3 seconds along with a secondary 5-megapixel rear camera to capture depth information. Back in June OnePlus rolled out OxygenOS 4.1.5, which was quickly withdrawn and the OxygenOS 4.1.6 update was released. Now OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 4.1.7 update for the 3 and 3T that brings improvements, including enhanced system fluidity and battery optimizations.
