Micromax has launched Canvas Juice 2 AQ5001 smartphone, successor of last year’s Canvas Juice A177 smartphone. The Canvas Juice 2 has a 5-inch HD display, is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). Xolo has launched LT2000, the company’s latest smartphone with LTE support. It has a 5.5-inch HD display, is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and runs on Android 4.4, which is upgradable to Android 5.0 (Lollipop). As usual it has dual SIM support. OnePlus introduced Happy Hour sale for the OnePlus One 16GB Silk White variant last Thursday on Amazon.in. The sale is back for the second week. This will let you purchase the smartphone from Amazon.in without an invite today for one hour, 1PM to 2PM. Even though the sale lasts for 1 hour, stocks are limited, says the company.
OnePlus has announced that it is increasing the price of OnePlus One smartphone in European countries that uses euro as currency. This change is due to falling value of the Euro. The OnePlus One 16GB variant that sells for 269 Euros will cost 299 Euros and the 64GB variant that now sells for 299 Euros will cost 349 Euros after the hike. This will be effective from March 25th, so those who are ordering the phone till open sales next Tuesday will be charged the old price. HDFC Bank has launched Chillr, a mobile app that allows users to instantly transfer money to any contact in their phone book 24×7 since it is linked to customer’s bank account. The bank has partnered with MobME, a Kochi-based technology firm, to launch the app. It is available for Android and iOS platform currently, but it will soon be launched for Windows Phone, said the company.
