Micromax has announced Canvas Selfie 4, the company’s latest selfie-focused smartphone, along with the Canvas Bolt Selfie, a budget selfie smartphone. It packs a 5-inch HD screen, is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Hyve Mobility, a new smartphone company based in New Delhi is all set to launch its flagship smartphone on June 2nd. The company is headed by Sharad Mehrotra, who was previously Apple India’s enterprise mobility head. He quit Apple in December 2015, after working there for almost 8 years and started Hyve Mobility in January 2016 to develop Android smartphones. TP-LINK has launched TL-WA855RE, its latest power socket-mounted Universal Wireless Range Extender in India. TL-WA855RE catches a wireless signal and then rebroadcast it, which helps to strengthen the signal from any router. “In addition to extending the range of your wireless home network, you can also use this range extender to create a Wi-Fi access point,” said the company. Amazon India has updated its returns and refunds policies for electronic goods. Under the new policy, Amazon will not offer refund on electronic goods like laptops, desktops, monitors, cameras and camera lenses.

HTC just sent out invites for the launch of it’s flagship HTC 10 smartphone in India on May 26th. The invite just shows an image of a painted elephant with the launch date. The company already confirmed that it will launch the Snapdragon 820 version of the phone in India, even though HTC India website listed the HTC 10 Lifestyle with Snapdragon 652 soon after the announcement. LeEco India just sent an invite for an event on June 8th. The company is expected to launch the Le 2, Le 2 Pro and Le Max smartphones at the event. These phones were unveiled in China last month, come with a unibody metal design, fingerprint sensor and have new Continual Digital Lossless Audio (CDLA) audio standard for loss-less audio through USB Type-C port and doesn’t have 3.5mm audio jack.

This is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 SoC, comes in 2GB and 3GB RAM variant and runs Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). The internal storage has also been increased to 32GB. Other specifications such as the 5000mAh battery, 5.5-inch HD display and 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone flash and Laser auto focus for quick focus, are the same.
