Xiaomi showcased its Mi in-ear headphones / earphones at the Mi 3 launched event last month. It comes in several variants, here we have the Piston 2 model that recently won the iF Design Award 2014 in Germany. The packing varies depending on the countries. In Singapore it comes in a box with IF logo, but in Malaysia, it doesn’t have the logo, like our unit that we have for unboxing. Check out the unboxing below.
The Nokia Lumia 520 was the most successful budget smartphone in the Lumia series sale globally. Microsoft launched the Lumia 530 Dual SIM, the company’s most affordable dual SIM Lumia smartphone in India recently priced at Rs. 7,349. Check out the unboxing below.
Celkon has launched Campus A15K, successor of last year’s Campus A15 smartphone. This has the same 3.5-inch HVGA screen and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor, but this runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat), comes with a 3.2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera. India Data Card market registered an annual shipment of 6.72 million units for the year ending June 2014, according to a report from 6Wresearch. The India Data Card market which was previously commanded by the CDMA segment is now witnessing a strong shift towards GSM based Data Cards as they registered 69% share of the market, said the report.

Spice Retail has launched the first Firefox OS-powered smartphone, Spice Fire One Mi-FX 1 as it promised earlier this year. It has a 3.5-inch HVGA screen, powered by a 1GHz processor, 1.3-megapixel rear camera, 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 2G (EDGE) connectivity and dual SIM support. This is targeted at the masses looking for a larger than life phone statement but are deterred due to price sensitivity, says the company. Lava launched the Iris X1, the first smartphone in the X series back in May. Today Lava has announced that it would launch a new smartphone with a wide-angle front camera with LED flash in the X series soon. Sony launched the Xperia C3, a similar selfie-focused smartphone with a 5-megapixel front camera with LED flash recently. Lava did not reveal the resolution of the rear camera yet. Earlier today there were reports that the Xiaomi Mi Power Banks would go on sale on Flipkart next week, now both the 10400mAh and 5200mAh variants of the power banks are available for pre-order on Flipkart for Rs. 999 and Rs. 799, respectively. Xiaomi Mi Power Banks will go on sale in India next week, Xiaomi India head Manu Jain said to IBN Live. He also said that it will directly go on sale without any registration. The official Xiaomi flip covers and the screen protector for the Mi 3 that went on pre-order earlier this week, would go on sale next week on Flipkart. These power banks were showcased at the Mi 3 launch event in India last month. These power banks recently got priced at Rs. 799 and Rs. 999 on Flipkart for the 5200mAh and 10400mAh variants respectively. Motorola is likely to discontinue its most popular Moto G smartphone in India, few weeks before the arrival of its successor. Flipkart is advertising as “Get yours before it’s gone! Last stock of Moto G 16GB” on its website, so this might be the last stock of the smartphone to be sold in India. Motorola reduced the price of both 8GB and 16GB variants of Moto G by Rs. 2,000 in India recently, due to huge competition from other manufacturers.
